Replaced my stock speakers on a 02 dodge dakota QC……since its a 4 way speaker I can really hear the lows, Mids and highs very clearly with out any EQ and they can hadle alot more power……..and My trucks speaker size is a 6 3/4 and these are a 6.5 which is smaller but I researched sony and these are better than any 6 3/4 speaker sony offers…..so I just popped out the old speaker and drilled new holes into the old bracket and these fit perfectly!

Overall excellent Product and cant beat the price……I <3 Amazon

I have a 1999 Honda Civic EX Sedan and these speakers sound great! My back pair are my bass providers and my front act more as tweeters. These are my front speakers and I’m going to buy the same kind for my back pair (6×9)

I advise paying a little extra to get these installed by a professional. I went ahead and installed it myself with a new CD deck… bad decision. It ended up that my right speaker doesn’t work and I don’t know how to fix it! So just save yourself the headache and pay someone to do it. It is worth it. These Sony XSGTX1640 6.5-Inch Coaxial 4-Way speakers are great for the price !

I just got a pair of these Sony XS-R1642 speakers and put them in the front doors on my Honda Accord. They are really nice speakers. The sound is crystal clear with nice bass response. I’m very happy with them. These Sony Xplod components are nice. I’ve got a pair of 6×9′s in the back and they rock too. Together I’m hearing really clear crisp sound with outstanding bass.

I replaced both, the from and the rear speakers for a Hyundai Sonata 08. With the original speaker I didn’t want to hear any music because of the poor quality. I did change the tweeters as well, and it does make a big difference. One advice: don’t try replace the speakers by yourself — it is a very complex process.

These speakers rock, great midrange to highs with excellent sound reproduction, but don’t expect to feel a lot of bass there only 6″. I added a sub (Sony dual 12″ explode) and my car sounds like a concert hall now ! WOW!!! In a 32k vehicle I was amazed at the factory speakers, they cost all of 99 cents, plastic and paper with a cloth suspension ! ! ! I went from 6 speakers to 20 and well worth it. I consider myself an audiofile listening to music with high end equiptment now for almost 40yrs. Long live ROCK…
