These speakers where easy to install in both the front and back of my truck. They sound very clear, and have a great bass. The speakers beat the head unit in the mail, that was fast. Thanks

Pros- Louder, 60w constant wattage meaning my JVC stereo doesn’t have enough wattage to blow em out (thats good). Perfect fit for my 02 Ford Ranger. Very clean, crisp sound. If it’s not, then your input is bad, because these speakers are like you are there with the band. They don’t look too gaudy either, I can see a little shine from behind my stock door panel, it looks cool!

Cons- Bass isn’t that great, but hey, these are 4-way speakers. If you want bass speakers get 2 ways.

Last thoughts- I’d buy it again! They were reasonably priced, and a direct fit to my old speakers.

The Pioneer 6×8 speakers are unbelievable. The highs are excellent. I would recommend to anyone…

These speaker are definitely worth the money spent… I removed all four of the factory speakers from my Ford Ranger extended cab and replaced them with these speakers, which I added to my new JVC radio/CD player. The sound is awesome! The range of lows, mids, highs, have made a huge change! I totally enjoy listening to music while driving.

The change over wasn’t quite as easy as the other reviews I read about these speakers. The door panel retainers where a pain to remove and then it was pretty simple, but needed to cut wires removing the Ford connectors and then crimp the new ends.

I am very happy that I made the investment, both in time and money.

I put a set of these in a Mustang, the store only had one set of Kenwoods so i put a set of these in the rear with the kenwoods in the doors and they sound better than the kenwoods and cost less. They only have average bass but they do not distort and have a good range. I don’t push then to hard cause i have 2 10″ subs
